Not really, I have just been really worn out and working alot. Our camping trip went well but ended with a trip to the ER for Grant. He walked into the crank out window on the outside of the RV and ended up with 8 stitches. They said about 3mm more and he would have lost his eye. He's fine now though. Stitches are already gone.
Anyways, been working like a dog and getting ready for my CPO (Certified Paraoptometric Exam) on Oct. 15. Very nervous, but very generous raise in the deal. I really enjoy my job. I do. And to think I went to school for English Lit. Most of the women in my mom's family went into the medical field (mom and grandma included) and that is what Grant was going for. They always tried to talk me into it and I always protested, loudly. Go figure. But I always argue that what I do is not the same as a nurse. Soo unnh.
Yeah, this is really sporadic I know, but I haven't posted in a while and I feel the need. But I am exhausted and my brain is running on Benadryl and Lortabs right now. I had two emergency root canals this week. One Tuesday and one Thursday. I have five more schedule between now and the middle of Oct. My left front canine broke in half while I was brushing my teeth Tuesday morning before work. My teeth have always made me embarrassed. People see bad teeth and most likely they assume that problems are caused by the person having bad hygene. Not true. I have OCD and one of my compulsions is hygene. I shower twice a day typically. In the morning and at night I take a bath, soak, and then a quick shower to rinse off. I brush my teeth constantly and vigorously. I can go through a firm toothbrush in a month. And actually the doc said that was the main cause of my problems, I have worn off the protective enamel coating on my teeth. But my new dentist is my boss's best friend and he is giving me the hook up. 80% discount and bleaching my teeth for free. I'm getting about $15,000 worth of dental work for maybe $5,000. Mom is paying for it and then I am making payments to her.
Anyways, my spelling is crap tonight, which really is embarrasing considering I'm and English nut, and I can't string two sentences together for shit. So I will leave you with this, every cloud has a silver lining and ours is finally peeking though.
